A couple from central China’s Chongyang County posted a video online of their six-year-old daughter driving a car. The girl's parents not only allowed her to drive but also encouraged her while she was behind the wheel. The video quickly went viral and was widely criticized by the public and the authorities. Local police officers imposed a 2,000 yuan (292 US dollar) fine on the couple and revoked the girl’s mother’s driving license.
