Sergio Aguero has signed a one-year contract extension at Manchester City, tying him to the Premier League club until 2021. City announced on Friday.
The 30-year-old Argentina international joined City from Atletico Madrid in 2011 for a reported 38 million pounds sterling (50.2 million US dollars).
Aguero is City's all-time leading scorer with 204 goals, and has scored three times in five Premier League games this season.

"I'm very happy because they have treated me very well since the first day I got here," said Aguero. "My idea was being here for 10 years. This was the main reason I signed."
"We are fortunate to have had one of the best strikers in the world at our club for so many years," said City's football director Txiki Begiristain.
