Did you know China is the biggest source of foreign tourists to Cambodia? In 2018, more than 6.2 million tourists entered Cambodia, including 1.6 million Chinese tourists, accounting for 26 percent of the total. Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen said recently that “Chinese tourists have been targeted by every country across the world, Cambodia needs more ambition. Our target is to attract more Chinese tourists, up to three million within the next few years.”
