The annual "Art Beijing" expo has finished its run on Wednesday. In its 13th edition this year, the event is exploring new ways to better serve the Chinese art market, as well as bringing fresh talent to the development of art.
Beijing is an important platform for introducing Chinese culture to the world. And once again, it's held a feast for the senses, "Art Beijing."
This year featured contemporary art, classic art, design art and public art. A total of 160 art galleries and art institutions from 14 countries and regions provided a fantastic opportunity for everyone involved.

In addition, young art market brand, "Hi21," was added to promote the "strength of youth."
"The young artists are the future of art. You can see the future development of art from their work and efforts. That is why we added this specific section to showcase their creations. Visitors can also have various choices when they come to the expo. I think something they collect here may become a great piece in the future," said Dong Mengyang, director and founder of Art Beijing.

On display were works and voices from around the globe. Fuller, a young British artist, said the youth art section brought greater diversity to the fair.
By exploring the identity and culture of places, Fuller uses extensive research, urban and rural exploration, local knowledge and lived experience to depict the places he visited.

His latest work, "Beijing," portrays the cultures and topographies of the Chinese capital.
Young Italian artist Sofia Cacciapaglia said she wants to let more women's voices be heard by presenting her works.
"Most of my works are about women. I think it is very important to transmit this message about women particularly at this point of time and place. The composition of my works is all about human contact between women and the way they support each other," said Cacciapaglia。
