China's Steel Roses bagged the final victory in the CFA International Women's Football Tournament Yongchuan 2018 by beating Finland 2-1 and Thailand 2-0, as well drawing with Portugal 0-0.
On Monday evening, China defeated Thailand in the last match of this traditional "Four-nation women's football invitational tournament", and that gave head coach Jia Xiuquan his first championship title after he took over women's national team in May.
The victory was sealed early within the initial quarter, as Li Ying slot the ball unbelievably under the Thai goalkeeper's hands and Ren Guixin made another incredible long-range shot respectively at the 4th and the 15th minutes.

The coach Jia tried to solve the attacking side's problems as he exhausted all "permutations and combinations" to adjust the forward line during this tournament.
At the post-match press conference, Jia said, "Our players performed well overall, and the tournament achieved its aim of selecting, examining and exercising them. But Chinese football still has a long way to go." Then, he thanked the China women's football fans for their support.
The silver medal gained in the 2018 Asian Games forced China women's national football team to catch up with their powerful rival Japan, who won the Asian Games and the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup this summer.

There are just eight months before the opening of the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup France, and China women's football is experiencing a dangerous old-young supersession period.
Jia is hoping to perform better than the last edition of the Women's World Cup, where China only came in 8th place.
