A customer in Zhengzhou, capital of Henan Province, mixed up the price of stuffed buns with his password, and ended up paying more than 140,000 yuan (about 22,000 US dollars) for the food, the owner of the bun shop told CGTN.

According to the transaction record, the incident happened in the afternoon of April 2, but He Liuzhu, owner of Bianliang Stuffed Bun Shop, didn't find out until he was doing his monthly account check during the end of that month.
He was shocked to see the receipt of 147,258 yuan and later realized the customer might have entered his password for the price of the buns. What is even stranger is that the customer hadn't come to claim the money after a month had gone by.
Since the amount is a lot of money even for China's burgeoning middle class, He is turning to the media to find the customer as soon as possible.

He has been running the store for eight years. He says his monthly revenue is about 10,000 yuan, so the mysterious income early last month amounts to his total annual sales, and he is determined to find the person and return the money.
Stuffed buns are famous in Henan Province, and Bianliang is a popular franchise among locals.

Since mobile payments are prevalent in China, such mistakes might happen when the customer is in a hurry.
He says many members of the media have approached him, and he hopes he can find the customer and return to a peaceful life once again.
