Several injured after blast rocked Swedish capital Stockholm

An explosion hit the Swedish capital of Stockholm on Wednesday, the city's police confirmed on its Twitter account.

The blast occurred at around 1:00 a.m. local time (0300GMT) near an industrial area.

Several people were injured and have been sent to the hospital, according to Sputnik.

The cause of the blast is still unclear.
