The Baihetan hydropower station is located on the lower reach of the Jinsha River. A leading Chinese electric machinery maker has developed and completed the runner for a million-kilowatt generating unit, the world's largest in terms of capacity. The delivery of the runner will guarantee the commissioning of the first unit for the Baihetan station in 2021 as scheduled.
