6 killed as fire engulfs entertainment outlet in Ipoh, Malaysia

Six people were killed and one was seriously injured after a fire erupted at an entertainment center on Wednesday morning in Ipoh City in northwestern Malaysia, local media reported, citing the fire and rescue department.
Local firefighter brigades responded to the fire at 5:49 a.m. local time (2349 GMT Tuesday) at the entertainment center in Jalan Raja Dr Nazrin Shah, said officials.
The cause of the blaze is not immediately clear, and rescue missions are currently underway.
