Malaysian’s national zoo prepared a birthday party and a special birthday cake for its one-year-old giant panda cub on Monday.
The cub was born on Jan. 14, 2018. She left the nursery at the age of eight months and started to live with her mom. According to the zoo, she is in good health but a bit quieter than her elder sister.

The zookeepers at Zoo Negara brought a special birthday cake made of carrot, bamboo with special moon cakes shaped as a giant “1” on top. Many adoring fans came to join the party in Kuala Lumpur. The little young girl seemed shy for the birthday surprise and stayed close to her mom.
Her parents Xing Xing and Liang Liang, both born on Aug. 23, 2006, arrived in Malaysia in May 2014, marking the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties between China and Malaysia. She also has an elder sister who returned to China after turning two years old.
