To reach his goal, Edgley has been swimming 12 hours per day without setting foot on land. When he needed a rest, the man would board a support boat where he slept and took in nutrients. /VCG Photo

This is not the first time for Edgley to challenge a mission impossible. The seasoned strongman has in the past climbed the Qomolangma, done a marathon while dragging an automobile and swum in the Carribean with a heavy log attached. /VCG Photo
