Ice mining for the 35th Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival is underway on the Songhua River. About 110,000 cubic meters of ice blocks will be mined in the next two weeks. All ice blocks will be delivered to Harbin Ice-Snow World where they will be carved into sculptures.
