Eighteen rescued sea turtles were released by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs off Xiamen coast in southeast China's Fujian Province on Tuesday. The 18 released sea turtles are all green turtles, rescued and confiscated from Fujian and other places. GPS positioning systems were installed on the back of two sea turtles to monitor the marine ecological environment and the living conditions of sea turtles through satellite data.
