Facing the context that some countries want to violate or destroy the world order, Russia and China are committed to safeguarding world stability by establishing truly fair rules of international trade in a non-discriminatory and open international economic order, Akimov stressed.
Russia's former foreign minister Igor Ivanov also noted that every state visit is of great significance to bilateral relations, especially the upcoming visit of the Chinese president.
In his interview with CCTV, Ivanov said bilateral ties between Russia and China are at a fairly high level and Xi's visit is very important to determine the future development of bilateral relations.
