Iniesta took to the field for the last time in a Barca shirt on Sunday, calling time on 16-years in the Catalan city. According to Spanish media said on Wednesday,  Iniesta was on the verge of signing for the Japanese top-flight side.
It is reported that the former Barcelona captain will announce the move official on Thursday. Kobe is currently seventh in Japan's top flight and is yet to win the title since the league's conception in 1992.
