Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with Panamanian President Juan Carlos Varela on Tuesday on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York City. Wang said China is willing to tap the cooperation potential with Panama and make more achievements to benefit people on both sides. He said China is confident about the prospect of bilateral relations. Varela said Panama is satisfied with the fast development of bilateral ties and is willing to participate in the Belt and Road construction.
