The Chinese Navy aircraft carrier force completed training for nighttime takeoff and landing of carrier-borne fighter jets recently, making China one of the few countries capable of carrying out such missions. As the carrier is in motion, the nighttime missions are considered far more difficult and dangerous than those in the daytime due to low visibility and the limited space on the flight deck.
