"I went skiing in a casual winter jacket, looking like a tourist. That was my first time."
Liu Fei, engineer and ski enthusiast, is now at the intermediate level and trains as much as he can when off work. "I was still intimidated the second time I was taken onto a slope. I was afraid I'd lose balance and crash into other skiers. I used 20 minutes and finished that lane, but I wasn't really skiing (laugh). I learnt within the next hour how not to fall and had a great sense of accomplishment. I fell in love with this sport. "
