The head of China's top legislature said Friday that the National People's Congress (NPC) fulfilled its oversight duties in accordance with the law to better promote economic and social development and aid the advancement of reform tasks. Li Zhanshu, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the NPC, made the remarks while addressing nearly 2,980 deputies at the second session of the ongoing 13th NPC in Beijing.
