China says it is willing to work with Samoa and the international community to tackle climate change. During a meeting with visiting Samoan Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sailele, President Xi praised Samoa for upholding the one-China policy. The Chinese president said China wants to boost cooperation with Samoa under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative. The Samoan Prime Minister said Samoa treasures its relations with China and supports the Belt and Road Initiative.
