Khabib Nurmagomedov fulfilled his promise of defeating Conor McGregor at Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 229 in Las Vegas on October 6. After defeating his rival, Khabib jumped out of the cage and got involved in a mass brawl with McGregor's team. Khabib apologized for his part in the melee during the post-fight press conference and also revealed that Russian President Vladimir Putin had called to congratulate him.
