Elliot's pheasants forage lightheartedly on SE China mountain

CGTN Nature's film crew has recently captured some rare Elliot's pheasants on camera in southeast China's Wuyi Mountain region.
The female bird and its chicks are foraging in the lush forest.
Under first-class state protection in China, Elliot's pheasants are endemic to the country's southeastern regions.
Like many other bird species, the male Elliot's pheasant has brighter-colored plumage than that the females, as it is shown in the video.
