Two people were trapped in a car and another injured on Sunday by falling pipes at an underground parking lot in a shopping mall in Changshu City, east China's Jiangsu Province.

The incident took place at around midday BJT at Wanda Shopping Plaza.

The injured person was taken to hospital for treatment.

A rescue operation is under way and the cause of the incident is under investigation.
