A series of exhibitions focusing on Asian civilizations are going on in Beijing as part of the Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations which opens on May 15. The National Library of China is welcoming visitors with its two major exhibitions on the oracle bone script and the Yongle Encyclopedia, or Yongle Dadian in Chinese, written during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).
