High-speed railway line speeds up Xinjiang development

The Lanzhou-Xinjiang high-speed railway is the first long-distance high-speed line in China's western region connecting Lanzhou, the capital city of northwest China's Gansu Province, with Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Since its operation began in 2014, the line has served more than 20.17 million passengers. It has expanded travel possibilities for residents along the line.
