"The Bronze Bomber" Deontay Wilder (41-0-1, 40KOs) from the U.S. repeated his magical first-round finishing ability against a compatriot also known for his knockout power, Dominic "Trouble" Breazeale (20-2-0, 18KOs), and successfully defended his WBC world heavyweight title at the Barclays Center in New York on Saturday.
Wilder began on offense, launching a barrage of heavy hands at his rival, who had no option but to spend all his energy on defense.
When the referee restarted after Breazeale clinched, Wilder delivered a big right straight after a light left jab, and, in the twinkling of an eye, conclusively ended the bout.

Besides for Britain's Tyson Fury who drew with him last December, nobody has lasted a whole fight with Wilder.
Wilder now is waiting for the duel with another Brit, Antony Joshua (22-0-0, 21KOs), and said after the match: "The Joshua fight will happen, all these fights are in discussion, no doors are closed, all parties involved are in discussions."
"There are too many opinions at the moment, it's going to take our teams and me and him to sit down and make this fight happen for the fans."
"I want the fans to have patience and give us some time to make this fight happen. We risk our lives, so we want to get as much money as possible."
"Good things come to those who wait."
The undisputed world heavyweight champion Joshua will encounter former WBO world title owner Andy Ruiz Jr. (32-1-0, 21KOs) at Madison Square Garden in New York on June 1.
