An oil depot at Binhai New Area in north China's Tianjin Municipality has caught on fire Sunday, say local authorities.

The fire broke out at around 5:45 p.m. BJT (0945GMT) at a storage depot for lubricating oil.

Firefighters have reigned in the blaze.

No casualties have been reported.
