China's first homemade sci-fi blockbuster, "The Wandering Earth,” was released in 29 U.S. cities on February 5, Chinese New Year. The movie amazed U.S. moviegoers with its bold imagination. Many moviegoers were impressed by the visual effects and core values of the movie which is different from the Hollywood style. "The Wandering Earth" has become the winner of the Chinese box office during the week-long Spring Festival holiday. It took in a huge 1.94 billion yuan in just six days.
