Chinese President Xi Jinping returned to Beijing on Wednesday after state visits to Italy, Monaco and France.
President Xi visited the three countries from March 21 to 26.
The Europe tour, Xi's first overseas trip this year, has helped to strengthen China-EU comprehensive strategic partnership and enhance global security and prosperity with fruitful outcomes.

President Xi concluded his state visit to France on Tuesday local time. Before leaving, he and his wife Peng Liyuan attended a grand farewell ceremony held by French President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysee Palace.
"The visit was very successful," Xi said at the ceremony, hailing the consensus and mutual trust between China and France.
Xi also encouraged the two countries to strengthen pragmatic cooperation and implement the agreements reached during the visit.
Macron said that he had in-depth communication with President Xi on bilateral relations as well as international issues, and reached many important consensuses.
France-China relations will continue to develop and take a new step, Macron added.
