An exhibition of items recovered from the fire that destroyed Brazil's National Museum last September will open in Rio on February 27. A total of 283 artefacts will be displayed at the Bank of Brazil Cultural Center – 103 of them recovered from the rubble of the museum. Efforts to rebuild the much-loved museum are slow moving due to the meticulous work that staff need to undertake to salvage exhibits. The museum held Latin America's largest collection of 20 million historical artefacts.
