The Hong Kong section of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link went into operation on Sunday when a high-speed train left Hong Kong West Kowloon Station at 7 a.m. to head for Shenzhen North Station in south China's Guangdong Province. A bullet train left Shenzhen North Station at 6:44 a.m. for the West Kowloon Station in Hong Kong, now a special administrative region (SAR) of China.
