Chinese President Xi Jinping says youth key to Chinese Dream

As long as China's youngsters have aspirations, capabilities and a sense of responsibility, the country and its people will have a future, Chinese President Xi Jinping said on Monday.
Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks when meeting with the new leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China at Zhongnanhai leadership compound in Beijing.
He said representing the youth, winning the trust of the youth, and relying on the youth is a significant guarantee for the CPC to continue achieving success.

Xi emphasized that the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation will eventually come true through the hard work of successive generations of youth.
Xi also stressed the importance of adhering to the leadership of the CPC and the path of developing the relations between the League and the general public with Chinese characteristics in conducting youth-related work.
The work should closely revolve around the Chinese Dream, and call on the larger number of youngsters to pursue and fulfill their dreams with bravery, added Xi.
