The World Health Organization (WHO) unveiled its  annual list of health challenges this month that will affect billions of lives around the globe in 2019.

The list, which highlights the top 10 health threats, aims to help people prepare, prevent, and respond in time.

To tackle these threats, WHO has initiated a new five-year strategic plan focusing on a triple billion target: ensuring 1 billion more people benefit from access to universal health coverage, one billion more people are protected from health emergencies and one billion more people enjoy better health and well-being.

They will continue to work with governments and relevant international organizations to ease situations across the globe.
