More than 100 types of lanterns are lighting up the night in Datong, a coal-rich city in north China’s Shanxi Province, as Lantern Festival approaches. Traditional lanterns and modern ones using 3D technology are on display, highlighting Chinese traditions and culture, the city’s history and children’s stories.
