Police in Paris used water cannons and tear gas as scuffles broke out at the Arc de Triomphe, on the ninth consecutive weekend of the "Yellow Vest" protests. Thousands of demonstrators turned out across France, with dozens of arrests and clashes in the capital and other cities, including Bourges, Bordeaux, Toulouse and Strasbourg.
