A luminous zebra crossing has been installed in Suzhou City, east China's Jiangsu Province.  It activates after 6 PM every day and when the crosswalk signal turns red, the zebra crossing will also glow red to remind pedestrians to wait.  At the same time, the light on the vehicle road will be in green, the same with the signal light.  The upgraded version of zebra crossing could better alert pedestrians and vehicles, especially on rainy, snowy and hazy days.
