Songyuan City, which is located in northeast China’s Jilin Province, encountered a tornado at 12 p.m. on May 28, 2018, according to many local citizens. At 1:50 a.m. the same day, Songyuan was hit by a 5.7-magnitude earthquake. It was said that severe weather conditions appeared after the earthquake caused the tornado to occur.
