Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday received an honorary doctorate from St. Petersburg State University. Expressing his gratitude for receiving the honor, President Xi said the school is well known worldwide and has cultivated many talents. St. Petersburg State University, which was founded by Peter the Great in 1724, is the oldest university in Russia.
