Chinese President Xi Jinping met with foreign entrepreneurs attending the first China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai on Monday.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of China's reform and opening up and China's exchanges and cooperation with the world have become increasingly close, said President Xi.
China is working with the international community to build a community with a shared future for humanity. China's reform and opening up will not stop, and China's opening to the outside world will grow wider. The hosting of the CIIE is one of China's opening up initiatives.
Meanwhile, China will tackle problems wherever they arise when cooperating with other countries. The country will continue to provide a good environment for foreign companies to invest in China.
Companies from all over the world are welcome to share the opportunities created by China's development and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results, said President Xi.
