A whale-watching boat carrying 46 people suddenly caught fire in waters off Hualien Port in southeast China's Taiwan on August 13. A nearby boat immediately headed to the scene to help rescue passengers. Everyone aboard was safely rescued from the smoldering vessel. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
