Team China won first place in Arena of Valor, one of the six eSports demonstration events at the 18th Asian Games in Jakarta, Indonesia, on August 26. The team defeated Chinese Taipei 2-0 in final. This is the first time that eSports have been included in a major multi-sport event as a demonstration, meaning the medals will not be counted in the official overall medal tally.
