13 killed in south India bus accident

At least 13 people were killed on Saturday when a bus accident occurred in Indian-controlled Kashmir, Xinhua reports citing police.

The bus, with 32 passengers onboard, was going from the village Loran to Poonch district when it fell from a huge height.

Eyewitnesses said the bus was mangled and its ruins scattered in the gorge.

Nineteen people were injured from the accident and have been admitted to different hospitals, according to local officials.

"Of the injured, eight critical ones have been airlifted to Government Medical College hospital, Jammu," said a senior police official.
