An Italian newspaper has published Chinese President Xi Jinping's article on a new chapter in bilateral relations. President Xi says that as the countries are approaching the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties next year, China welcomes Italy’s possible move to join the Belt and Road Initiative, which will build multiple gateways between Asia and Europe.
