Chinese President Xi Jinping met Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the sidelines of the G20 summit. The two leaders discussed the strengthening of cooperation and sharing of development opportunities between their countries. China supports Turkey's efforts to achieve stable development, Xi said, adding that China is willing to work with Turkey to jointly oppose protectionism and unilateralism and to safeguard the common interests of emerging market countries.
