The gunman live-streamed the shooting for about 17 minutes. And despite the original being taken down off the Internet, it's managing to find its way back on various platforms, such as YouTube and Twitter. Zhang Kai, a professor at the Institute of Communication Studies, the Communication University of China, shared her views on social media’s role in this online virtual tragedy.
