Technicians conducted final tests on a renewable energy system for the Greek island of Tilos in the Aegean Sea in August. When completed, Tilos will be run entirely on green energy. The new system is generated by wind and solar power and will replace the original unstable diesel power generation. It is also designed to meet the electricity demand of a growing population.
