Iraq's second largest city of Mosul celebrated the one-year anniversary of the defeat of ISIL group with a military parade. The government declared a national holiday and celebrations took place nationwide on December 10. The battle for Mosul was Iraq's longest and most punishing fight against ISIL in the more than three-year war against the extremists.
