This three-episode documentary tells the story of the students in class five of Luqiao Middle School in east China's Zhejiang Province. It studies the changes in their lives in the last 40 years from a sociological perspective. Students in class five graduated in 1978 from high school, the same year when China started its reform and opening-up drive.
