Time is everything when it comes to saving life, but heavy traffic during rush hour has slowed down ambulances and taken away many patients’ critical treatment time. To cope with the situation, a three-wheeled bike ambulance service was launched last Sunday in Mumbai, India. / Photo via VCG

The free service was introduced by Lodha Foundation, a local charity organization. Every bike ambulance is equipped with a first-aid kit, a stretcher and an oxygen cylinder. A doctor can sit at the back. /Photo via VCG
