Team China wins two gold medals at 2018 Summer Youth Olympics

Team China won two gold medals in men's 100-meter breaststroke and women's 4x100-meter medley relay in swimming on Monday at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires.
In the final of men's 100m breaststroke, Sun Jiajun from China finished the race with one minute and 0.59 seconds, taking the first gold for his country. Denis Petrashov from Kyrgyzstan came in second with one minute and 1.34 seconds while Taniguchi Taku from Japan ranked third with one minute and 1.4 seconds.
In women's 4x100m medley relay, Team China sent Peng Xuwei, Zheng Muyan, Lin Xintong and Yang Junxuan who came with a leading advantage and finished the race with four minutes and 5.18 seconds to bag the second gold medal for their country. Australia (four minutes and 5.46 seconds) and Russia (four minutes and 6.07 seconds) followed with respectively silver and bronze.

In the finals of 100m backstroke, Russia's Kliment Kolesnikov took his second gold medal in Buenos Aires after he won the men's race with 53.26 seconds, which is the world's ninth best record in 2018. Daria Vaskina who's also from Russia won the women's final with one minute and 0.45 second.

Kristof Milak from Hungary continued to shine in the men's freestyle race by conquering the 200m final with one minute and 47.73 seconds. It was also Milak's second gold medal he won at the 2018 Youth Olympics. His compatriot Blanka Berecz won the women's 200m butterfly final with two minutes and 10.37 seconds.
